Sabrina C. is a spoken word artist who hails from the suburbs of Chicago.  Her musical training as a classical pianist and composer, combined with her theatrical background as a playwright, director, and performer are evident in each of her performances.
Her poems combine the lyrical rhythm and rhyme inherent in her musical background, while retaining the dynamic performance found in hard-core theatre.  Often accompanied by acoustic guitar and influenced by everyone from Rumi to Ani DiFranco, her performances are simply well crafted admissions of another person's version of truth as she knows it. She has performed at six Ladyfests, countless coffeeshops, squats in Western Europe and colleges in the Midwest.
