perhaps merely quiet
ICARUS THEATRE COLLECTIVE, London, 2007
Directed by Max Lewendel
Set in a mental institution, Perhaps Merely Quiet details the methods in the madness of five separate women. This play defines the betrayal, sacrifice, and helping hands they lend each other to walk a fine line of self within a web of diagnosed sanity.

What is the price of thanks, when one man saves another’s life? Karl is a successful businessman whose life was saved by a passing bum. When he brings the bum, Prescot, upstairs to thank him, the price of his life is set in a strange bargaining war where the price keeps getting higher.
INSATIABLE LITE DUET
produced by the Curious Theatre Branch
What happens when two women look at each other and think, “I want her body”? In the obsessive diet regime of their dorm room, Lorena and Emily lay their bodies as a battleground for this question. Together, they battle it out between starvation and hunger, desire and denial, one measured spoonful at a time.
